Telangana and Dakshin Express Trains Diverted

Hyderabad: Hyderabad-New Delhi Telangana Express and Hyderabad-Hazrat Nizammuddin Dakshin Express which started on January 5 were diverted following the derailment of a goods train between Manikgarh and Veergam stations near Balharshah in Maharashtra on Friday morning.

Darbhanga Express and Nagpur passenger were stopped at Kagaznagar station. Chennai-New Delhi (GT Express) was stopped at Mancherial station. Several other long distance trains were also diverted by the South Central Railway (SCR) due to the derailment. Also, trains starting on January 6 were cancelled. They include Hyderabad-Delhi Telangana Express and Balharshah-Secunderabad Bagyanagar Express.

The SCR has announced helpline numbers at Secunderabad (040-27786170, 27700868), Warangal (0870- 2426232), Khammam (0874- 2234541), Kazipet (0870-2576430) and Kagaznagar (0873-8238717).

  • Train No. 12723 Hyderabad-New Delhi Telangana Express which left Hyderabad on 5th January, 2017 was stopped at Rechni Road and taken back towards Secunderabad is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Adilabad and Pimpalkutti.
  • Train No. 12721 Hyderabad-Hazrat Nizammuddin Dakshin Express which left Hyderabad on 5th January, 2017 was stopped at Kazipet and taken back towards Secunderabad is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna and Akola.
  • Train No. 17005 Hyderabad – Raxaul Express which left Hyderabad on 5th January, 2017 was stopped at Manchiryal and taken back towards Secunderabad is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Adilabad and Pimpalkutti.
  • Train No. 18501 Visakhapatnam-Gandhidham Express which left Visakhapatnam on 5th January, 2017 is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna and Akola.
  • Train No. 15016 Yesvantpur – Gorakhpur Express which left Yesvantpur on 5th January, 2017 was stopped at Pendiyala and taken back towards Secunderabad is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Adilabad and Pimpalkutti.
  • Train No. 12615 Chennai-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Grand Trunk Express which left Chennai on 5th January, 2017 was stopped at Peddampet and is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna and Akola.
